The Movie UP Shoots Straight Into US Box Office

The Pixar animated movie “Up” has gone straight into the #1 spot at the US Box office. In it’s opening weekend it has brought in over $68 Million.

The film which is about a grumpy old man and a young scount went straight in, knocking Night at the Museum 2 off the top spot. In comparison, the #3 spot is horror movie Drag Me to Hell which brought in just over $16 Million. Star Trek is #5 bringing in over $12 Million.

This just goes to prove the popularity of Pixar movies just continues to rise. They combine an amazing animation with funny characters, famous voice overs and great storylines. It has now grossed over $200 Million making it the only movie to do that this year.
