French Open Latest

There was a shock departure yesterday as Nadal was beaten by Soderling in the fourth round of the French Open. Soderling took the first set by 6-2 but lost the next set 7-6. However he then took the next two sets 6-4, 7-6. It was a major shock as Nadal was favourite to win the championship as he has an excellent record on clay.

Britains Andy Murray also won and is through to the quarter finals after beating Cilic in 3 short sets 7-5, 7-6, 6-1.

Federer is currently on court but has lost the first set to the German Haas 7-6.
