Soderling took the first set by 6-2 but lost the next set 7-6. However he then took the next two sets 6-4, 7-6. It was a major shock as Nadal was favourite to win the championship as he has an excellent record on clay.

Britains Andy Murray also won and is through to the quarter finals after beating Cilic in 3 short sets 7-5, 7-6, 6-1.

Federer is currently on court but has lost the first set to the German Haas 7-6.

She was rushed to hospital on Friday to have it checked out. She was filming for the movie Salt in New York when the incident happened.

The good news is that it was only precautionary and she was back filming on set the very same day.

Reportedly the role she is playing was originally due to star Tom Cruise but was changed when Jolie showed her interest. It is due to be released in the Summer of next year.

It was travelling from Brazil to France when contact was lost at around 0600 hours this morning.

A search is underway to try and locate the plane by the Brazilian Air Force.

In it’s opening weekend it has brought in over $68 Million.

The film which is about a grumpy old man and a young scount went straight in, knocking Night at the Museum 2 off the top spot. In comparison, the #3 spot is horror movie Drag Me to Hell which brought in just over $16 Million. Star Trek is #5 bringing in over $12 Million.

This just goes to prove the popularity of Pixar movies just continues to rise. They combine an amazing animation with funny characters, famous voice overs and great storylines. It has now grossed over $200 Million making it the only movie to do that this year.

Well done to all at Pixar!

The drama’s star Kristen Stewart also came away with the best actress award. The best actor award was won by Zac Effron for High School Musical.

The late Heath Ledger won a best villian award for his appearance in The Dark Knight.

There was a minor upset when Sacha Baron Cohen who was dressed as one of his many characters, flew into the arena on a wire, landed in Eminem’s lap and bared his backside. Eminem then stormed out but it is not too clear whether he knew what was going to happen or not.

The top honour of the night went to Ben Stiller, who won the Generation Award for his work on so many great movies.

If it does it will go down in history as being the biggest failure of an industrial company in America.

The company had until today, 1st June, to supply a plan of action that could see the company bailed out. But as of yet they have still to supply any form of action plan.

The are reports that President Barack Obama is going to give a press conference and announce a massive funding option to GM to try and save them. This is reported to be around $30 Billion.

GM sales have been plumeting due to the overall financial crisis and they have already recieved $20 Billion in funding already.

So we’ll watch today and hopefully a solution can be found.

The star, who came second to dance group Diversity in Saturdays final, is reported to be suffering from exhaustion. In a recent statement released by the television company TalkbackThames they said:

“Following Saturday night’s show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained.

“She has been seen by her private GP who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery.”

“We offer her our ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery.”

Susan is reportedly about to sign a multi-million pound contract to captitalize on her extraordinary fame in America and all over the world due to the power of YouTube, where she recorded millions of views of her first audition.

Susan, we wish you well and hope you recover soon!
